The stork has landed: OSF Forsyth collecting donations for women and families

3/03/2026 - Urbana, Illinois

(March 3, 2026 | Forsyth, Illinois) – The OSF HealthCare women’s health clinic in Forsyth has been open for two years, offering comprehensive care for pregnancy, well-woman issues and more through a midwife-based care model. Along the way, OSF Mission Partners (employees) recognized that some families face financial challenges during pregnancy and early parenthood. In response, the clinic has launched “Stork Stop,” a donation closet to provide baby clothing, other baby essentials and postpartum supplies for parents. OSF Mission Partners provide the items to patients who visit the clinic for an appointment and are identified as having a need – at no charge and no questions asked. The donation closet is not open to the public.

OSF is accepting donations for Stork Stop, including:

  • New or gently used baby clothing up to 18 months

  • Items from the clinic’s wish list, either purchased online or donated in person

  • Baby toys and bouncers

Money donations are not being accepted at this time.

Donations can be dropped off Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the OSF Forsyth clinic – 845 South Route 51. If someone can’t make it to the clinic, other arrangements can be made to get your donation there. For questions about Stork Stop or services offered at the OSF Forsyth clinic, call (217) 443-5697.

Stork Stop represents the continued commitment by OSF HealthCare to care for patients beyond the exam room and strengthen communities.
