2025 Sunflower Award Winner, Adrienne Erwin

The Sunflower Award recognizes non-nursing Mission Partners who go above and beyond in providing exceptional service and compassionate care to patients, families, and fellow Mission Partners. Adrienne’s dedication and kindness exemplify these qualities.

“The Sunflower Award honors care team members outside of nursing for the exceptional care they provide to our patients, and Adrienne is truly deserving,” said Heather Bomstad, vice president and chief nursing officer at OSF Saint Paul Medical Center.

Adrienne’s nomination read:
“This is not about the problem I had, which is a long story, but about the outcome I received. The outcome was only made possible by the actions of office assistant Adrienne Erwin. Adrienne listened, showed concern, and was kind and understanding. She connected me to the right people who calmed my concerns. Adrienne went above and beyond in assisting me. She should be commended. She’s a keeper!!”

Adrienne, who has been with OSF HealthCare for over eight years, lives in Earlville, IL.

OSF HealthCare encourages patients, family members, and fellow staff to recognize caregivers who have provided exceptional care and service by nominating them for an award to honor their dedication.
