The recipient of the 45th Annual Conkey Family Award was announced on Friday, May 15, at OSF HealthCare Saint Paul Medical Center as part of National Health Care Week. This year’s honoree is Kim Kennedy, a dedicated human resource business partner.
A Mission Partner for nearly 40 years, Kim resides in Mendota and was nominated by a fellow Mission Partner for her compassion, integrity and servant leadership. While her role is not centered in direct patient care, her commitment to patients and fellow Mission Partners is evident in everything she does. Kim consistently offers steady guidance, support and encouragement and her work now extends beyond the local region as she supports Mission Partners across the OSF HealthCare Ministry.
Throughout her career, Kim has been a trusted leader and dependable resource, valued for her kindness, loyalty and deep understanding of the organization. She has supported numerous efforts that strengthen the Mission and culture of OSF HealthCare, often working quietly behind the scenes to help others succeed. Kim’s nearly four decades of faithful service truly reflect the spirit of the Conkey Family Award.
The Conkey Family Award is an annual honor presented at OSF HealthCare Saint Paul Medical Center. It recognizes Mission Partners who demonstrate exemplary service, kindness and deep dedication to the hospital’s health care Mission. Established in 1982, the award has honored outstanding service each year since its first presentation in 1983.
