The holiday season is a time to reflect, give thanks and remember those who have touched our lives. OSF HealthCare Saint Clare Medical Center invites the community to honor or remember loved ones through its annual Tree of Lights campaign.
Since 1990, this cherished tradition has raised more than $135,000 in support of local health and well-being. This year’s proceeds will help fund a state-of-the-art portable 3D ultrasound bladder scanner, enhancing patient safety and comfort through quick, non-invasive assessments that reduce infection risk and promote healing.
Community members are invited to purchase a star in honor of or in memory of someone special. Silver Stars are available for $10 and Gold Stars for $100. Each star will adorn the 2025 Tree of Lights, displayed in the north lobby at OSF Saint Clare. A corresponding star list featuring the names of those honored and remembered will be available at the display.
“As these stars shine brightly through the season, they remind us of the love and light that continue to surround us,” said Deb Kirley, Tree of Lights chairperson. “Each gift is a reflection of gratitude and hope for those we cherish and for the health of our community.”
