OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center announces new Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer

Darlene Evans, MSN, MSM, RN, NEA-BC, has accepted the position of vice president, chief nursing officer for OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center.

In this role, Darlene will be accountable for leading nursing operations and be the lead site executive responsible for patient experience for OSF Saint Anthony while working with other leaders to accomplish this goal.

New to the Ministry, Darlene most recently served as associate chief nurse officer for the University of Illinois Chicago for the past 6 years and has been a chief nurse executive for more than 10 years. Darlene has also served as an executive leader for Quality and Patient Safety, helping drive quality improvements across multiple facilities.

Darlene earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Troy University in Troy, Alabama, where she also earned a Master of Science in Management and a Master of Science in Nursing. She is currently working on completing a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and a Doctor of Nursing Practice also from Troy University.
