OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Supports Breast Cancer Awareness with Pink Heals Sauk Valley

10/21/2025 - Ottawa, Illinois

(Ottawa, Illinois | October 22, 2025) - OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center is proud to host the Pink Heals Sauk Valley Chapter on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Fox River Center, 1200 Starfire Dr, Ottawa, IL.

This special event marks the end of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, bringing together patients, families, and Mission Partners to celebrate strength, hope and community.

“Hosting Pink Heals is such a special opportunity to honor our patients and their families,” says Lori Warren, organizer of the event and an OSF HealthCare Mission Partner. “It’s an emotional and uplifting experience to see the pink fire trucks roll in, knowing that they represent hope, courage, and community support. We’re so grateful to Elizabeth Tribley and her team for bringing that energy and compassion to Ottawa.”

The OSF HealthCare Foundation, supporting OSF Saint Elizabeth, will also be onsite during the event to share how community generosity directly supports cancer research, patient programs, and local oncology services. Through the Foundation, OSF HealthCare continues to advance innovative treatments, enhance patient comfort, and ensure that every individual facing a cancer diagnosis receives compassionate, faith-based care close to home.

“At OSF HealthCare, we believe in caring for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit,” says Dawn Trompeter, president of OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center. “Partnerships like this one with Pink Heals show what can happen when communities come together to support one another. It’s a beautiful reflection of our Mission to serve with the greatest care and love.”

A special thank you goes to Mission Partner Lori Warren for organizing the event, and to Elizabeth and Brian Tribley and the dedicated volunteers of Pink Heals Sauk Valley for making the trip to Ottawa to spread encouragement and compassion. Their presence is a reminder that healing extends far beyond medicine—it’s about love, connection, and community support.
