OSF HealthCare is pleased to welcome Angelina Leitschuh, APRN, to its primary care team, increasing access to family medicine services for patients in Wood River and the surrounding areas.
Beginning September 28, Leitschuh will provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages at OSF Medical Group – Primary Care, located at 1853 Vaughn Road in Wood River, helping address the growing need for primary care services in the community.
The addition of Leitschuh will increase access to family medicine services which allows more patients to receive timely, coordinated care throughout every stage of life.
"We are excited to welcome Angelina to our primary care team and expand access to care for patients in Wood River and the surrounding communities," said Cathy Kronk, director of Physician Services. "As the need for primary care continues to grow, adding another provider allows us to care for more patients, reduce wait times and ensure individuals and families can receive high-quality care close to home."
She received a Bachelor of Science in nursing and Doctorate in Nurse Practice from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville.
